Transforming Bedtimes

Many parents share how bedtime brings up a mix of feelings - their own and their child’s. It’s a moment where tiredness, connection, separation, possible unmet needs, and stored‑up feelings all meet.

If you’d love more clarity and more ease at bedtime, I’ve created, with a lot of joy, a free PDF on transforming bedtimes with attachment play. It’s based on attachment play, one of the key aspects of Aware Parenting, rooted in the work of Aletha Solter. I even found myself laughing at times while making it.

I created this PDF as a taster for my 2‑week online course with the same name.

Best Brother/ Best Sister

I initially made this booklet for our son when we were pregnant, and I am now sharing it with other parents who are welcoming a new baby in the family.

It is a booklet for your child when you are expecting a new baby in the family.

There are lots of questions in there to help prepare your child, to include your child and his or her experience, and to make your child part of the decisions that also involve him or her.

There is also fun and lightness included, as well as ways to express some of the feelings your child might have about having another baby in the family.

Are you pregnant? Would you like to include your child in this way, and become more aware of what is going on for him or her around your pregnancy and the arrival of a baby sibling?

You might enjoy receiving this booklet!

Would you like to receive a personalized one?

If yes, I would love for you to reach out to me.

A little story

The little mouse girl loves spending time with her mama mouse, especially outside. One day she sees a butterfly and wants to catch it. Will she be able to?

I used to love making up stories for my son when he was little, maybe you do the same with your child.

A few of those stories I wrote down, and this is one of them. I shared it many years ago during Marion Rose’s Aware Parenting Instructor course, and someone in that circle, Lyra L`Estrange, felt inspired to make drawings for it.

It’s an old story now, maybe around eleven years, but still sweet to share. And Lyra’s drawings are so lovely.
